Regarding the drawings required for municipal permits for the renovations we plan to do in our house... In June 2025, different companies came to do these drawings, we exchanged ideas and requested price quotes. And now we are meeting with renovation companies and receiving offers. Once all the details required for municipal permits, the materials to be used, and where and what renovations will be made in the house are clarified, a final drawing will be prepared and the municipal permits will be obtained. Architektenburo R.J. Pannekoek B.V., one of the firms that came to discuss municipal permits and drawings, had prepared drawings without my approval. They also brought printouts of these drawings to the meeting. We could not have approved these drawings while it was unclear where in the house the renovations would be carried out and what materials would be used. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS WE DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO DRAW.. THEY DO NOT SEND US A PROFORMA INVOICE BEFORE DRAWINGS AND WE DO NOT ACCEPT AND START THE PROCESS.. BECAUSE OUR RENOVAION DETAILS IS NOT CLEAR.. Probably because they have too much free time.. I do not know.. 6 months later on December 9th, I received an invoice from Architektenburo R.J. Pannekoek B.V. dated 4.12.2025, with a two-week payment deadline. Probably from unemployment and boredom AGAIN…. I sent them an email stating that issuing invoices for drawings made without my approval was incorrect. Let me clarify, the issue isn't about invoicing without my approval; it's about issuing invoices for drawings made without my consent. We were informed that once it is clear where in the house the renovations will be done and what materials will be used, the drawings need to be made, and after the municipal permits are approved, an invoice will be issued and payment will be made. Probably from they had lots of spare time.. without my approval and especially before the details of the renovations were even clear, drawings on paper are of no use to us. I filed a complaint with the consumer rights authorities on December 12, 2025. I will soon be submitting my complaint to the Chamber of Architects and all other relevant official institutions I can reach. As a result, the invoice they sent needs to be cancelled.
