Zeer onbeschoft behandelt na indienen aangiften waar fouten mee zijn gemaakt. Toen ik vragen had over de verkeerd ingediende aangifte werd er geweigerd mij te woord te staan en meermalen de telefoon opgehangen. Ik raad het iedereen ten zeerste af met dit kantoor in zee te gaan.

1 Star – I would give less if possible I called this firm because a colleague had used them in the past and said the overall experience was OK, but that he didn’t know all the rules for U.S. taxes, so my colleague had to figure some things out himself. I did not shop around or call other companies first. I just wanted to check a personal recommendation first, meaning someone I know who had experience with the company. When I called, the secretary answered and said she would transfer me but needed my name. I gave it to her. When the man picked up, he answered in English, so I assumed she had told him my name and that I was speaking English. I started asking my question and he immediately interrupted me: "Who am I speaking to? Musk? Trump?" as if chatbots were calling to troll him, or whatever his idea was. I repeated my name. He then repeated my last name several times to himself in a way that felt rather strange, though not enough to call it outright racist. He asked how much I had in foreign bank accounts. I said clearly: I have a foreign bank account that I didn't close before moving to the Netherlands, but I have nothing in it. He replied, "For some people nothing is 10 million." I said again: literally nothing, zero. He repeated that nothing or zero means different things to different people. I had already answered him directly, so I honestly did not know what he wanted me to say. He then asked if I had contacted other firms like his, but answered himself before I could speak: "Obviously you have, that’s why you’re calling me." Completely wrong. He was the first and only person I called, based on a recommendation. At the end, he said the fee for tax declaration would be €235. I then searched online and found at least 10 other companies with hundreds of stellar reviews that do tax declarations for individuals for 100 euros. So I will definitely take my business elsewhere. Both his and the secretary’s English were poor, which made communication awkward, although the secretary was professional and polite. This was surprising, given that he told me he mainly works with international clients. The entire interaction felt arrogant, presumptuous, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this firm.
